The primary architectural challenge in Dublin’s unique, diffused daylight environment is maintaining the clean lines of modernism without succumbing to sterility. This project is not merely about furniture placement; it is a psychological negotiation between light, shadow, and texture.

Our strategy centered on a “desaturated base” punctuated by “high-tactility materials.” Expansive glazing invites the verdant, often melancholic Irish landscape indoors. To counterbalance this cool light, we deployed the Bouclé textures of the JS-S019 to soften the atmosphere, while the JS-L006 acts as a chromatic counterpoint—a deliberate “visual disruption” in terracotta that prevents the monochromatic palette from feeling flat.

Furthermore, the vertical intervention of the JS-S021 series sutures the potential disconnect found in double-height voids. It transforms empty volume into a coherent spatial dialogue.
