In the heart of Milan’s contemporary architectural district, this private villa demanded outdoor furniture that could hold its own against imposing vertical lines and concrete textures. The challenge was not just to furnish, but to soften.
The JS-ODL0150 Orbit Daybed was selected as the architectural counterpoint. Its circular footprint breaks the rigidity of the rectangular decking, while the heavy-duty chunky rope weave introduces a tactile, artisanal layer to the modern envelope.
By utilizing “Seamless Transition” design principles, we blurred the boundaries between the interior lounge and the open-air terrace, creating a sanctuary that feels both expansive and intimate.
