While visually stunning, such spaces can often feel impersonal and disconnected. The design challenge was to introduce warmth and human scale without disrupting the open-plan layout.
Enter the JS-S018 Modular Sofa System. Its organic, serpentine curve acts as a soft counterpoint to the room’s hard angles. By positioning the JS-S018 centrally, we created a “room within a room”—an intimate conversation island that anchors the vast living area.
The low profile of the sofa preserves the sightlines to the garden, while its curved backrest naturally guides movement through the space, encouraging flow rather than obstruction.
